What is one choice can define your life and what you stand for? 18 years after the war had ended, and the faction system reunited, two courageous teenagers make the ultimate choice to switch their lifestyles to become the daredevils they were never meant to me. Few people thought the decision to switch factions at the time was brave, most people thought it was the idiotic decision of a teen. No one knows the motive of these kids transferring, but they have their reasons, and these reasons might help evolve the faction system into something greater.

Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. This story will answer your questions. After her brother, Caleb chooses the enemy Beatrice picks Abnegation to stay with her family and is determined to fit in. Beatrice just wants her life to be normal but some people prevent that from happening. Beatrice will learn that life can't be perfect and she has to accept that there will always be problems. Beatrice and Tobias fight the obstacles that come their way together. I never really was made to be in Abnegation. I didn't ever fit in. All of the selflessness - I just couldn't do it. I couldn't forget myself in a matter of seconds then turn to another in need. I always thought of myself and what I would be like when I was older. Would I live in Abnegation? Could I learn to forget myself eventually? No. It just wouldn't happen.
