Nina and Matthias's story is one for the ages: a classic epic about two rivals who learn to coexist and learn to love one another. It's a story we've seen hundreds of times before, but what if they never made it out of Fjerda? What if fate had other plans for our doomed couple?
After hiding out in a secluded cabin nearing the Fjerda-Ravka border, Nina is captured by a team of Drüskelle. It's up to Matthias to save the enemy from the Ice Court without backup or allies before she can be tried for her supposed "crimes" - a task no one has attempted before. It's a story told again and again, but Matthias can only hope it ends for the better this time.
