Natasha and Rue spend everyday training endless hours for The Red Room, preparing for the day they will graduate and be sent out on missions.

They spend every night, waking up sweating and in tears, trying to convince themselves it was just a dream.

Neither of them want to kill people, or spend their days being whipped for showing any signs of weakness.

Neither of them want to do target practice on humans or face the violent consequences of refusing.

Their only sanctuaries are each other, and when they realize they will be separated if they make it past 18 and become fully operational assassins, they form a plan to escape, and live alone in the city.

What happens when their new-found freedom is quickly ripped out from under them?

Will they ever feel safe again?

Retrouvailles

17 parts Complete Mature

Ira Morozov and Natasha Romanoff met at the Red Room Academy, a place where they trained women and girls to be the world's deadliest assassins and best spies. During their time at the academy they grew incredibly close due to being their best recruits and their growing feelings for one another, which made graduation hard. If you saw another graduate in the real world outside of a joint mission there's only one thing for certain, that you were either tasked to kill them or they were tasked to kill you. But sometimes the people with horrible luck get lucky.
