Dylan Marcus Stone is an 17 year old who's mother had just died, so he and his sister are sent off to live with their dad. He had moved away from his hometown - Rosewood - when he was 7, and now he's back. Then on his first day back, someone peaks his interest.
M.K. Aria is the girl no one knows and only a few people have actually heard speak, and even then it's only a few words. She's a mystery to even the ones she does say her few words too.
Aria got amnesia when she was 8. Which means she doesn't remember much about the first eight years of her life. Although there are a few things she did remember: computer skills, different languages she was taught, and how to sneak in and out of places without being seen.

"Sweetheart wake up. You're at the hospital." I looked up and saw the same woman hovering over me. "Oh...okay." I opened my eyes fully and noticed that I was already in the hospital bed. Abigail and her aunt get along very well, and she grows up safe and in no harm. Although her life and goals seem set straight and simple to her, her mother and others are always watching, just waiting in Abigail's shadows for the perfect time to strike, and take their next victim in the creepy and deathly darkness of Brett Creek in Colombia Falls, Maine. I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory.
