Here's a wlw enemies-to-lovers story! Excerpt: "I can't have more of your soup," Reva says, craning her head to look up at Ayza. "It's delicious, you make great soup, but if I have it again, I'm afraid I might just fall asleep and never wake up." "Don't talk like that, fucking asshole." Reva laughs. "You're acting like you'd mind if that happened." Ayza frowns. "I would very much mind." "Would you? I don't think you would. That wouldn't be awfully enemylike of you." "Yes," Ayza insists. "I've been nursing you back to health for the past few days. I could've just left you to die if I wanted. But I didn't want you to die." "I would've survived. You're so dramatic." "You keep saying I'm dramatic, but I think all of us remember you walking into shoeless Steve's house in your giant high heels and handing in your resignation with that grand speech. Or have I made that up?" "That was necessary drama," Reva waves her arms dismissively. "You're dramatic for no reason." "I could've killed you," Ayza insists. "Poisoned you." "But you didn't." "But I didn't, out of the goodness of my heart. I could have. You," she says, jabbing a finger at Reva, "are far too trusting." "You wouldn't hurt a hair on my head." "How are you so sure of that?" Ayza sneers. Reva wonders if she should do it. She should, before she loses her nerve. She reaches up and kisses Ayza's forehead. "You just wouldn't," she murmurs. - From Chapter 21: No More Soup *Note, Ayza uses she/they pronouns, so chapters from their perspective will feature both of those.
