Being a superhero is not an unusual profession where Maddie is from. Neither is going out with an old acquaintance she happens to know through work. What 𝙞𝙨 unusual is a superhero going out with the most elusive supervillain in town... and 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛.

This is another winner of my school's annual Creativity Contest [Creative Writing]!! It's a scene from a comic I've been planning for almost a year - Valkyrie. Enjoy! :D

In a world of superpowered beings, it's natural some become heroes to try and better the world such as Scarlett the Bold, Janice the shield, Mary the healer, and the one everyone fawns over: Stardust.
