The two make an unlikely pair, but soon realize their survival may depend on one another more than they had initially thought. When the time comes, will Killian join Jasper's group, or wander out on his own once again? The dead are dangerous, but the living are cruel. My breath hitches and I look up at my beautiful girl through my lashes, my eyes brimming with tears because I know after tonight we won't be seeing each other again. I stand up from the edge of the bed and walk over to her, watching as her chest moves up and down harshly with each breath. My eyes trail over the love marks I left moments ago when we were happy to only get lost in each other's arms temporarily. She's mad at me. I never wanted her to be mad at me. "I'm sorry, baby," I whisper reaching forward to run my finger along her cheek catching the falling tear that flows down her soft skin. "You promised." She whispers. I know. "I promise I'm not attached, Blue." Too late. ••• Apollo and Blue have a few things in common.
