This story was heavily inspired by wings of fire. I absolutely loves these books when  I was a kid, so I decided to write a story inspired by it, since I'm re-reading them for the first time in a long time. I hope you enjoy reading this, just as much as i enjoyed writing this (as of writing this, it's still ongoing.)
The story follows a young dragonet named Hide. As he runs away from his mother, queen of the moon kingdom, He faces the scorching deserts, and the kingdom of the sand. Depending on how this story goes, I'll make another installment, but this is it for right now. Enjoy!All Rights Reserved

"I understand Uncle *Sniff* I will be brave for the family and Mom." I took the cloak from his hands, and something clicked inside my head. A voice came through to my head, more a whisper than a normal voice. Uncle Waller stood up and walked away. I embraced the cloak, my tears falling on it, as I remembered my fathers scent. "I don't know what happened... But I promise you this Father, I will find the person who did this to you, and make it pay for taking you away from our family". I swore with anger burning in my heart. "I must grow strong, just like Father, Uncle and Grandpa... I will become The strongest Warrior there ever was, you will see Father..." I walked back inside the house. "Allen... You have promise..."
