I live a very boring, very normal life. Well, it wasn't always this way. I had years of tribulations that made me grow up a lot faster than others had to. But overall, normal. 

I am a third-year college student living with my best friend, who is the only one that gets me by in this world. It's been just the two of us for a while now, big plans to take over the world and everything. 

Until, one day, that might actually be possible. 
All because of Atlas.

Atlas Finch. The notoriously brooding teacher at Englewood University. He opens my eyes to a world I have never seen before, to power I didn't even know I had.  Power that I will have to use if I want to save my boring, normal life.
