Roommates // DNF
DNF college AU George is in the middle of his first year of college, but ends up transferring to a new school midyear. He's excited for the change, and hopes that this new university is the place where he'll finally fit in and get to be himself. But when he gets there, he finds out he's rooming with another transfer student, an American boy who was kicked out of his old college in the US. Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" He was built, definitely very strong, but didn't look too bulky. His face was as serious as was his voice and posture. If this guy decided to rock his shit, George knew he was screwed. He greatly hesitated before asking, but then decided it's in his best interest to get to know his new cellmate. "W-why, what happened to the last one?" He tried his best to sound casual and absolutely not frightened to death, but his voice came out a little choked up. "Well, let's just say we had our disagreements." Oh. "Wait, they let you change cellmates?" "Why, you trynna run off already?" He felt his heart drop, even after realizing this was probably this guy's idea of a joke. George wasn't sure if he should laugh it off or remain quiet. "'Course they don't. The Rink
