'There was an uneasy silence in the room as the damning words echoed in my head. The chills racing down my back left my knees weak at what was said... You have failed. We are coming.'

Since the beginning of life, there has been an uneasy truce between light and dark, maintained by the Horsemen or the Apocalypse.

All that changed the day Violet Spencer died and became the target for the Horsemen Death, forcing her to kill a being that has been around since time itself.

Now that the Horsemen Death has been defeated, Violet and the Reapers face an even greater threat as a powerful entity draws near.

She finds herself in a desperate battle to restore the damage D had wrought to prevent the beings from coming and if she fails... Her failure could mean the end of Humanity and the Horsemen, forever...

Amidts this, Moriah is forced to face the malevolent man Dean West in a second and final confrontation, who is now helped by a sinister group of highly intelligent children known as The Seven. Moriah plans on reuniting with the astral ghost of her dead husband Josiah in an unknown realm, and to do that, she would have to choose between leaving her family for good and sacrificing herself to keep them alive. Humanity fades away, and while the Wilders believe they will be the last people remaining, they are suddenly put to the test of survival against strange, sinister beings who, after hiding amongst us for years, emerge to contend against the mysterious women whose plans are to own the world. This is the third, darkest chapter of the Heathen Saga. So very dark, suspenseful and tragic.
A machine's guide to Divinity by Slab_Marksman

Violence, Fraud. All gone. And with Treachery soon to follow. The machines are decimating everything in its path and Hell itself is on the verge of being wiped out. Or so it seems. Hell was aware of its layers being destroyed, but it didn't care for it had much bigger, grander plans for the future. Letting the machines kill the husks and the demons, Hell was gathering mass and energy from the deceased denizens residing in itself to prepare an attack so great and powerful, that Heaven itself would descend into chaos. Then Hell would take over. The cycle of agony shall be born anew and this time, No angel or machine would interfere with it. Hell would now have the entire universe as its domain. It relished the fact that it would watch the sufferings of the so-called 'divine', fulfilling its twisted and sadistic desires using them. However, there was a minor problem in Hell's plan that could cripple itself if left unchecked. A supreme machine known as V1 had survived the decade-long war in Treachery, and the archangel Gabriel still stood, albeit being a husk, with his holy light 'gone'. These two could grow to be massive threats. Hell already knew their capability far exceeded those that were deemed Supreme demons. To guarantee success, Hell would have to intervene and relocate them to a place far, far away. And it did exactly that, Sabotaging Gabriel and sending V1 and the archangel into an unknown place far beyond its layers. Deep, deep into space, into the Exoplanets of the Copper system. Now the duo must prepare themselves for a battle, a climax that will determine their, and their world's survival, lest the inferno will spread evermore, its flames beginning anew. -Dedicated to Thonker the'Throngler'Chonker and 'Assgobler'. -WORR, WORW retelling and expansion
Rise of Fire: Dragons Reborn [COMPLETED] by RosaleeRain
49 parts Complete Mature
The world had long since forgotten the age of dragons, those creatures that had once ruled the skies as gods had long since disappeared after the conclusion of the Great Demon Wars. Dragons became nothing more than a fading legend, a story to tell children at bedtime. But the gods could not let the dragons die, for they were the last defense against the demon armies and the dark god Vekkar. Talia had been born and raised in a world of darkness acting as an agent of Hephatus, goddess of assassins and death. She knew only a life of killing, sometimes for justice, sometimes for honor, always for money. Her morals were opaque at best. But when she's deployed to the city of Arboros she finds herself thrust into a world of political games, opposing powers, and constant threat. Nowhere was safe even for her. Her goals became muddied, and then lost altogether when she meets the Dwarven Prince. Bromyr had spent the last five years of his life chasing ghosts, desperate to find the lost dragon eggs. His people thought him crazy, his father stripped him of his titles, but he never gave up. Eventually his effort bore fruit and he hastily made way to return to his homeland only to get caught up in the city of Arboros. It was there that he met an intriguing half-giant, a woman who ignited a fire everywhere she went. In the end she was the one who inadvertently brought about the new age of dragons. What could go wrong when an ill tempered assassin becomes the first dragon rider of a new age? ***Cover made by annie1loves1you***
