I tried to weigh it all down -- reasons why I find it so hard to let you go. Reasons that delay me from setting you free when obviously, we are only here to break each other's heart.
You're all set to leave, but I'm not. You know you have the option to leave at any time, yet I can't even open the door for you. We always leave each room for one another, but we can't even see the voids within ourselves. We were too empty for one other, too tired, and too toxic for each other. We're stuck in this never-ending loop of redoing mistakes and forgiving. We never learned from our mistakes. When we hit rock bottom again, we merely utilize all of our shortcomings as bullets and knives. We stay because we know that if we leave, we'll be lost.
There's only a little love left here -- too little it won't stay that too long to withstand with us.

My Bad Luck
Everyone suffered through hard times in the COVID years. Olivia, on the other hand suffered through everything. She felt like the universe targeted her, and that she would never get a good ending. Her hope that things would get better was fading by the day. Did she do something wrong? She must have done something to deserve such punishments. Well, at least that is what she believes. Finally, it looks like all is turning up until you learn of all the inhumane things you've done in your past, things that evade your newfound morals, things that were so detrimental to society that when you hear the reason as to why you've been enduring such agony, you understand why.
