I tried to weigh it all down -- reasons why I find it so hard to let you go. Reasons that delay me from setting you free when obviously, we are only here to break each other's heart.

You're all set to leave, but I'm not. You know you have the option to leave at any time, yet I can't even open the door for you. We always leave each room for one another, but we can't even see the voids within ourselves. We were too empty for one other, too tired, and too toxic for each other. We're stuck in this never-ending loop of redoing mistakes and forgiving. We never learned from our mistakes. When we hit rock bottom again, we merely utilize all of our shortcomings as bullets and knives. We stay because we know that if we leave, we'll be lost.

There's only a little love left here -- too little it won't stay that too long to withstand with us.
