"I am Wei Wuxian, the Holy Emperor of the Wei Immortal Dynasty. I only have two goals and those are to rule and to revolutionize. If anyone tries to mess or destroy everything that I have created or everyone that I have loved, then I WILL erase your pathetic existence from this world. Better watch your back, you cultivators of the major sects. You will all PAY for your transgressions!"
Wei Wuxian was betrayed by majority of the cultivators of the major sects, including his beloved Lan Wangji. They all believed Jin Guangyao's words over his own, that Wei Wuxian almost killed Lan Wangji. Having enough of their hypocrisy, Wei Wuxian decided to heed to his uncle's (the Emperor of Northern Wei Empire) advice on becoming the next Emperor, all the while dealing with his manipulative relatives and politicians.
5 years later, a lot of events has happened. Wei Wuxian was proven innocent and that the cultivators were manipulated into thinking that he was guilty (just because he practiced resentful cultivation). The Northern Wei Empire turned into Wei Immortal Dynasty. Wei Wuxian crowned as Emperor-now Holy Emperor of the newly turned Immortal Dynasty. Cultivators were feeling guilty for their actions and were looking for Wei Wuxian to apologize. But what those cultivators did not expect is for Wei Wuxian to change into an entirely different person.
"Wei Ying, please forgive me. I have loved you and I still do."
"Ho? Sorry, Hanguang Jun, but I have no interest in loving you again. Nor I am interested in loving anyone else."

Your dreams
Wei Wuxian arrived for guest lectures to the Cloud Recesses. However, Lan Wangji quickly notices, that there is something strange about the Yunmeng Jiang sect head disciple. He does not act like rumour describe him. And most importantly, he does not act the same as he had done in the past. Moreover, there are strange visions that Lan Wangji gets when he is close to Wei Wuxian. Just what is going on? OR Wei Wuxian travelled back to the past. He does not remember anything and does not want to get close to Lan Wangji. What will Lan Wangji do? This work is inspired by request from Olivia Hawkins: "A time travel fic after Guanyin Temple where WWX uses MXY's golden core to travel all the way back before he went to the Cloud Recesses and he takes this pill that prevents him from falling in love. Every time LWJ is near WWX, he has visions of the events that occurred later in the novel such as the Cloud Recesses burning, WWX giving his golden core to JC, WWX being thrown into burial mounds and WWX becoming the YP. He approaches WWX this time and hopes that he can protect him but is rejected constantly. So he summons most of the cultivation world to tell them about the visions he had seen." This fic will contain themes and mentions that may be triggering, please read the warnings and tags I used and proceed at you own discretion. English is not my first language so I apologise in advance for any mistakes. I am also not very familiar with Chinese culture, customs nor naming conventions so this work may in some places not be 100% accurate. I do not own any characters I have used in my story, this is purely a work of fan fiction. Hope you will enjoy reading :)Complete

(Another Random Idea for 2025) Wei Wuxian met Lan Wangji in ninth grade and wanted to be like him. In fact Wei Wuxian was the opposite of the stoic, disciplined and serious Lan Wangji. School life ended. Wei Wuxian found out that he was adopted, moved out of his home, married his classmate, had a child and lost his wife in childbirth. He was not happy in life but he had finally achieved his goal of being disciplined and serious in life. He had to be for the sake of his son A'Yuan. When he gets a job offer that pays him almost twice his current salary, he accepts it willingly, not realizing that the psychiatric patient who had lost his parents in an accident he is to be the companion of is none other than Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji has not spoken a single word in three years, not since the death of his parents. When he sees his childhood crush in front of him he wants to speak but cannot make himself do so. So he pulls Wei Wuxian into his arms and kisses him. Lan Haikuan never blamed his brother for being the reason he lost his parents but Wangji did.
