Delvis Billiard is your typical laid-back computer-loving sci-fi geek. He loves his job, he loves Safe Haven, and he loves his fellow geek and fiancée Alice Jenkins. To put it simply, life is good.

Until... it isn't.

When the Devourer arrives in Safe Haven, tragedy strikes. Alice is brutally murdered after Billiard leaves her behind during what he assumed was an emergency drill, and the crushing guilt that results from his actions renders Billiard unable to carry on his duties as a Xirxine monitor. His focus is no longer on keeping Safe Haven Safe. Now, he is obsessed with only one thing: REVENGE. 

To obtain that revenge, there will be some hoops to jump through--and Billiard is more than willing to do whatever it takes to hunt down the Devourer and end her once and for all. However, in his pursuit of vengeance, he forges an unforeseen alliance that might just be the key to mending his broken heart.

Meanwhile, Veronika struggles with the consequences of her actions. The voices and faces of those she's Purged haunt her relentlessly, making it increasingly difficult to sleep at night. Nevertheless, her zeal for the doctrine of the Saved spurs her on, even as new enemies (like the grieving fiancé of one of her victims) join the hunt for her head. 

The burden of her destruction is not one Veronika can bear alone, however. It might take some convincing, but sooner or later, Veronika will have to realize that she needs a shoulder to lean on--and one of the Crusaders seems all too eager to offer it.

One's heart is broken, one is the breaker. It won't be long before they cross paths in an explosive showdown that's bound to make your heart race...

Surpassing the beast, I take heavy steps towards the door when he pulls me back by my arm. I was taken aback when he pulled me, losing the balance I stumble on my tracks and with his strong pull I land on his chest. I immediately push myself back when he snakes his arm around my back making me unable to move from his grasp. We were so close now that my front was almost touching his making us look like hugging. He lowers himself and says "If you have a death wish then go ahead. The moment headquarters hear that you're no use to them, they will kill you without sparing a glance at you". Reverence This story depicts the story of two individual from different sides of the world who falls hardly for each other. If one is fire then the other one is water, making it next to impossible to meet at one point. Our male protagonist 'Aron' is smitten with our female protagonist 'June', however he doesn't show his emotions fearing that it will make him look weaker. He carries a strict and scary aura around him which makes people think that he is a ruthless person. On the contrary he is quite the opposite from inside. And our female lead carries a carefree nature who doesn't care about anything but herself. She is a savage quick witted person who can do anything for her own survival if required. When these two polar opposites crosses path with, we can expect a lot of drama and action, eventually seeing these fall for each other. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires. Cherise would only wish for problems for they would be so simple compared to hers and Zaire's. If any woman found out Zaire's secrets they'd take off running to the nearest police station or they end up in a body bag in the end. Depends....which will come first?

"I love you so much Aphrodite, and you scare me because you are so strong and I don't want to be the one to break you!" * Aphrodite Muerte is hiding something and so is her long term crush Thanatos Amaro. Both are helplessly in love with one another and both have very different approaches on how to hide it. Love makes you do crazy things and with Aphrodite and Thanatos, it's no different. Pretending to hate Aphrodite, Thanatos manages to hide his true feelings which takes a toll on both of them. Thanatos has no idea what he's doing. Past trauma rules over Aphrodite at night causing nightmares and panic during the day. Aphrodite has no idea how to live life outside of pain. Abuse has a way of shaping people, and she's barely mended from being so broken. Both have friends that force them closer but their love might just be the reason why they end up staying together. Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. They've been given permission to scour the entire building, potentially allowing them access to facts that might loosen Fisi's hold on the haven--or even turn his empire upside-down. But they can only scope out the Tower on HIS terms... which means they must first meet with him face-to-face. Is this a chance for the Protectors to finally expose Fisi as the criminal he truly is? Arthrogonian Paragon Alexis Marnozal has finally found a little slice of heaven. Her mother's plan worked perfectly, and the arthrogon race was saved. Now Alexis can live a normal life at last. Xirxine is under pressure to provide protection to the citizens, and in order to do so, they've decided to create teams compiled of the most powerful members of Safe Haven's society. Unfortunately for Alexis, she's on their candidate shortlist. Faced with the option of whether to live a life of peace and freedom from responsibility versus stepping fully into the world of war, Alexis must make a choice: reject or protect? On the other side of the coin... Xirxine International S.A.F.E. Subject V-111 (codenamed "Veronika") has fit perfectly with the Saved's offensive scheme. Her first Purge was carried out without a hitch, and she has already made a name for herself among the other Crusaders as the awe-inspiring "Devourer". Galaxy's life is filled with difficult choices and constant challenges. She has extraordinary powers, but they come with a heavy burden. Every day, she tries to control and use her abilities for good, but there's a pull toward something darker. The darkness offers more power and control, but it's also dangerous. Galaxy fears what she might become if she gives in, but the temptation is hard to ignore. At her core, Galaxy wants to protect the people she loves. But instead of letting them close, she pushes them away, believing the only way to keep them safe is by staying distant. She fears that if they get too close, the storm inside her will hurt them. The more she tries to protect them, the more isolated she feels. Her life is filled with training and missions from figures like Lance, who manipulates her into believing she needs to embrace the darkness to achieve her goals. Galaxy resists, but doubt constantly creeps in. She doesn't want to be a weapon; she wants to be a hero. But the darker side of her makes that feel impossible. Galaxy battles guilt and fear worried that one day, she'll lose herself completely to the darkness. Every time she uses her powers, she fears she's slipping further away from the person she once was. She wants to connect with others but struggles with her pride and anger, afraid of revealing the truth about her powers. But Harmony, Her cousin, who is fearful, strong calm, tries to bring her out from her dark side. She believes that Galaxy hasn't done anything wrong. Even though Galaxy tries to break her or tear Harmony's heart, Harmony will always be there. In her quiet moments, she wonders if she can still be the hero she once was, or if the darkness is now her only path. Galaxy's journey is one of constant conflict between light and darkness, love and power, and hope and fear.
