Riley Kindler comes from a family of very powerful witches. Unfortunately, Riley finds himself seemingly as one of the Ungifted, without a magical bone in his body. From living in one of the crappiest towns in Australia to having a runoff deadbeat Dad and harbouring a secret about himself that isn't exactly magical but still separates him from the rest of his small town, life couldn't be less enchanting for the young would-be witch. But when strange long lost relatives blow into town, his life suddenly picks up pace as he is burdened with responsibility he never knew and thrown into the middle of a centuries old struggle between light and dark. In which he may be the defining factor in its outcome.
