In the process of moving, Elvira stumbles upon her babushka's old diary in the attic. It is filled with stories of the daily struggles of living in the Soviet Union.
Written in both diary entries and a narrative by Elvira, she realizes that some difficulties of the very different culture still exist today.
(Just and idea because we're learning about the Cold War haha :p )
