Betrayal. Ever since Luna was just a kid, she was made very familiar with the term. Now, as she stands on the steps of Honorhall High, she sees an opportunity for change. An opportunity for friendship, fun, and maybe even love.
Luna never really felt loved. With her father being an abusive alcoholic, and her mother having to work several jobs to pick up his slack, she didn't have the best home life, and her antisocial nature led her to not have much of a social life either.
But now, standing on these steps, Luna sees her final chance. Her last opportunity to live the life she wants, unfortunately, her last opportunity started off with the introduction of a boy called Cyrus.
An immature, outgoing boy, and one who for some reason can't seem to leave her alone. The boy who would both screw up her golden years, and make them so, so much better.
In this story of love and betrayal, Luna Nyota tries her best to survive her high school years. With many hardships along the way, and many mistakes being made, will she ever be able to live the healthy and loving life she's been looking for since childhood?
