After five months of trying to find a Necromancer sending letters to all the sanctuaries, warning them of the coming Deathbringer. Valkyrie Cain and Skulduggery Pleasent finally get a lead to where the letters are coming from and find a sixteen-year-old girl who doesn't know a thing about the world of magic, yet has some magic of her own.
