Emma Swan has been outcasted from her parent's kingdom in the Enchanted Forest. Left to fend for herself in the midst of an ogre war, she is given a task by Rumplestiltskin; she must stop the ogre wars and create peace amongst the kingdoms of the realm by delivering a crucial message from the Dark One himself. At 18 years old, she must sacrifice her life in battle. Along the way, she runs into a familiar face, Regina Mills. Former Evil Queen. She befriends the woman, hoping to gain some company on the way to her certain death. They fight many battles together and their relationship grows stronger every day. When the time comes, Emma must choose between new love and saving the entire realm.
