"And in walk the boys... The ones that basically rule the school. You know those ones, the chauvinistic pigs who think they own the place and everyone in it, who also happen to be incredibly and annoyingly attractive. Yeah, those ones. Not that I would ever consider any of them, they're all sexist, crude teenagers. Boys in books are just better..."

Haven Turner is an anti-social bookworm and full time fangirl. She has no time for parties or hanging out with boys, not that she minds, because she believes that boys are always better in books and her book boyfriends are all she needs. To prove her point, the popular and cocky Jack Hamilton begins to notice her and attempts to charm her, managing to piss Haven off even more. He's arrogant, narcissistic and a total playboy at school, but she can't seem to get enough of him; much to her disgust.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
