Lucille Gardener, aka Miss Decisive, has never wrestled with making a choice. In fact, every major life decision she's made has been left up to her 25¢. However, when Lucille finally realizes that her coin-flipping strategy has led her straight into an abusive relationship, she can't help but wonder if she should have consulted a Magic 8 Ball instead.
With a heavy heart and an empty coin purse, Lucille resolves to move back to her hometown, Catskill, New York. As she navigates the challenges of her new life, Lucille's determination and strength are put to the test. She struggles to find a job and restore past friendships
But then Lucille meets Graham, her handsome neighbor in the townhouse over. From the moment they meet, sparks fly, and Lucille can't help but be drawn to his boyish smile and charming personality. They quickly become inseparable and for a moment everything in Lucille's life seems too good to be true.
