The Names We Shed

The Valkyrie are destined to fall in love with the Naga and then kill them. Gwyn is the last of the Valkyrie and she certainly does not love Duka, the last Naga. But who else is left to kill him?

"What about me was so hideous that you couldn't go out with me again?"

"Your soul." I state, staring right into his eyes.

Fury flashes across his face before he regains control, smothering it with a feline grin.

"Tsk tsk little warrior. For all that you have done under the name of protection, you're no perfect angel either."

Oct/14/2022- went back through and deleted a bunch of chapters and replaced them with the rewrite I'm working on, progress is going to be a bit slower going forward, but now you guys have the clearest version of my writing- enjoy
