"Martha" decetive Vance tapped his foot on the cold marble floor "Do you know anyone who might want to hurt your husband?" 

Martha's small frail frame began to shift, her round almond eyes darted around the room nervously before falling onto me. I returned her gaze, my stomach turning, once, twice, today's breakfast threatened to spill out.

Sweet little old Martha hands clamped together tightly in her lap. I nervously chewed on my inner lip as the hospital bed creaked as the Decetive sat down at her feet.
