Mikey seems to be your stereotypical city girl. Nice friend group, annoying little sister, uncool parents... but something's off. He's taking 'not like the other girls' to a new level, but what level? When a friend introduces a transmasc book, he feels... represented. It's always been Mikey Darron, the tomboy, however, still a girl. But... could this friend who lent the book know something more, and possibly help Mikey through the toughest times he'll ever face?

Matthew has always wanted to be Miya, practically since birth. But who can she tell? Her family is in shambles after her father left to be with his mistress. Her friends are oblivious, what with her guy friend trying to get together with her girl friend. Even strangers tell her what a nice and 'handsome young boy' Matthew is, and hope she doesn't change from that. Is this the one thing Matthew has to go through alone? Or would there be a little help for her to reach her goal to become who she really is? (ROUGH DRAFT) If you're interested in reading more of Miya's story, you can find it in my collection of shorts, Looking Forward.
