Katsuki was the embodiment of hero society. Izuku, the embodiment of heroism, as Shigaraki was to evil; however, she was neither. She was a shade of gray among light and dark fighting against prejudices she was forced to face.

In her attempt to navigate the grief of her past filled with betrayal, hurt, and loss, she is faced with the harsh reality of hero society, and is forced into the hero course at UA high school. To most people that would be their greatest dream come true, but for her it was just another glorified prison cell.
