This system brings Parker's family of detectives power and recognition. However, everything crumbles on Parker when his watch breaks. His lack of social and literal power begins a chain of events that will let Parker rediscover what it means to be hopeful when he has nothing.

When saving late night employees from a burning building puts Taylor in the path of a dangerous criminal, she ends up in an altercation that forces her to realize she needs help. Help comes from two unlikely people: Clint and Dominic who bring their own complications.
