Luo BingHe saw his Shizun leaning on a tree.

Low on guards, dozing peacefully, his chest rising and descending languidly, as if the worldly matters never signified anything to him at all.

Shizun was just having a peaceful slumber. Even if Luo BingHe, who's been carefully approaching him, had already squatted in front of his Shizun, the other was still sleeping.

Luo BingHe's heart started racing like crazy. His breathing ragged, excitement racking all over his body, as he gawked at his sleeping Shizun who had no idea what's happening around him. Luo BingHe thought he saw the light.

He thought he saw an opportunity. A fleeting opportunity. A once in a lifetime chance, that he will never encounter again tomorrow....

Luo BingHe thought he couldn't lose this, else if he did, he'll regret this forever.... The future ahead of him is unknown, so if an opportunity directly came to him by itself, he shouldn't lose it.

He shouldn't lose his first kiss with his Shizun...

And so he moved forward, then pressed his own lips to his Shizun's....

Promise, I'll make sure your new life is worth living. You'll have a chance to use your knowledge, your skills. You might even find purpose in ways you never imagined." Qingyao's heart ached at the thought of leaving everything behind. Her life at the Imperial Academy, her cherished scrolls, her patients-all of it was now just a memory. But Luo Yin's words held a strange, undeniable pull. Could she truly find meaning in this new world he spoke of? Could she carve out a life amidst the chaos of the unknown? With a deep breath, Qingyao met his gaze, her resolve hardening. "Fine," she said. "But if I'm to begin anew, I won't just survive-I'll thrive. I'll take this second chance and make it my own." Luo Yin's grin widened, his previous playfulness returning. "That's the spirit! I knew I didn't pick the wrong soul by accident." He extended his hand toward her, and a swirling light appeared between them, pulsating with a mesmerizing glow. "This will take you to your new world," he explained. "It might feel strange at first, but don't worry-you'll adjust. And remember, Qingyao, this isn't just an end. It's also a beginning." As she reached out, her fingers brushing against the light, a surge of energy coursed through her. The void around her dissolved into a kaleidoscope of colors, and the last thing she saw was Luo Yin's enigmatic smile, his voice echoing faintly: "Good luck, Mu Qingyao. The rest is up to you." When she opened her eyes again, she was no longer in the void. The air was crisp, the sunlight warm against her skin. She found herself in a bustling town square, the chatter of merchants and the clatter of wagon wheels filling the air. She looked down at her hands-different, unfamiliar, yet undeniably hers. Her heart raced with both fear and determination. This was her new life, her new world. And with her unyielding spirit, Mu Qingyao was ready to face whatever fate had in store for her.

"Hey Shizu-chan? Can I ask you a question? It's a little personal." Izaya never thought he would find himself in such a situation- talking with Shizuo under the artificial light of cheap stars. On his bed no less. Although he shouldn't have been so surprised, it was happening an awful lot lately. "What is your biggest fear?" He asked without expecting a response, but after a few seconds of pondering he got an answer that was no louder than a whisper. "My biggest fear would have to be..." The ravenette took it upon himself to guess it, but all attempts were fruitless. For all the years Izaya had known the man, he never showed a sliver of fright towards any obstacle. In fact, he himself couldn't understand why he had never been afraid of the other. But lately there had been an inkling of emotion, perhaps a little unpleasant whenever Shizuo walked in the room. It was something that could resemble fear, he realized, but the word left Shizuo's lips before Izaya could dare to think it. "Love." ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ Izaya had been gone from Ikebukuro for three years, and upon his arrival he was reunited with a particular blonde individual that he was all to familiar with. It's funny though, how along the way the words 'Stay out of Ikebukuro' morphed into something else, something gentler than he could ever imagine. Perhaps the word 'Home' wouldn't remain so foreign on his tongue. {HIGHEST RANKINGS} 《1st Izaya 《1st Shizaya 《3rd Durarara
