But when the time war came, she and her parents fled to their home planet which they didn't know would soon be gone.

There was something about her beauty and wonder that made his hearts flutter, a feeling that he hasn't felt in a long time. But he doesn't know how perfectly until he discovers something about her that will change his life forever. I do generally follow the lines of BBC Doctor Who, but might add or change some details.
