Hello everybody,

This is the final piece produced for my Rise 2021-2022 Project. This story features the issue of period poverty as well as some hard hitting experiences of racism, reader's discretion is advised.

When choosing to make this, I wanted to produce an unique way of addressing the issue of inequality within education that allowed for it to be a bit more accessible for my target demographic: 15-17 year olds who wanted representation. By choosing a fictional story impact based on real life events, this story provides a new way of learning which is engaging both intelluctually and emotionally.

I hope you learn something useful, and I hope this encourages you to do the same for others.
