When souls take forms, it's time for people to see what they're made of. Literally. Or, well, meta-physically, at least. And with no soul that's the same, things are bound to get interesting very quickly.

But when Quinn is born without a soul, her parent's aren't quite sure what to do. However, they never tell her that this has never happened before.

As Quinn grows, she notices that she's the only one without a weird, half-spirit creature trailing behind her. Kids are almost . . . scared of her. Over time, Quinn learns about a person's soul, and her parents aren't sure why she doesn't have one. So now it's up to Quinn to find out why, and hopefully along with it, find her soul somewhere in the world.

Who will Arise? by MashBap
9 parts Complete
Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Karissa lived a calm life in South Town with her father, Peter. Upon her mother's death in her teens, she rebuilt herself, and lets her mother live on in her memories. As her 18th birthday approaches, she begins to have strange dreams. Her childhood best friend, Amanda, and their new friend Lorelei from the northern city of Irkah, one day overheard a conversation that will soon change their life forever. Just two days before her birthday, grief sets in when her friends go missing, and she's left without them, not knowing where they could be. On the day of her 18th, she discovers that her eye has changed color. Scared and confused, she confided in her father and Amanda's grandmother, Rhian. They tell her the stories of what is truly happening, what she is. Introduced to the Magic Folk's world and its people, she must follow those who once guided her mother. Professor Chasm and Headmaster Andla offer Karissa guidance and teachings for her newfound life of being one of the Magicks. Now she must find her power so she will be able to defend both Magic and Human lands against their enemies whom threaten all's way of life. Read Eye of the Wyvern to find out more of what happens to Karissa on her journey of adventure, self findings, love, heartbreak and grief.
