Audra couldn't understand at the time why the tall lady all dressed in blue told her to wait on her bike as they decorated the house in bright yellow tape. The next thing she remembered was her aunt yelling and fighting the lady in blue trying to pass the yellow tape. But it didn't take her long to figure out what all of the yellings was about - - her parents being murdered on her bike ride to the ice cream shop.
After my parents passing my aunt was supposed to be my next of kin to take care of me but instead, she passed me along to the foster care system.
