It's the year 2008 and two teens, August and Max, have been inseperable nearly their whole lives. 4 years ago Max's dad got a high paying job offer in NYC and had to move abruptly, leaving August behind. August, now 18, with all of their savings and help from their parents, finally is able to book a flight to NYC to reunite with their childhood friend. The two never could've imagined what happened after.
