In a world of magic and wonder, Benjamin struggles to make his family proud. Never being enough for his father, a mission is given to the young man. Venturing out into the world, searching for the one thing that his father hated the most: a fae.

Being of the magical type, faes weren't known to be kind to humans, and they often enslaved the human race, thinking that humans were lesser beings to them. They were dangerous and were filled with magic, magic that man-kind knew not. And that's what terrified Benjamin.

Going into the forest, he tried to calm his nerves as he hunted for the wretched creatures, panic slowly seeping into his chest the further he went. He was starting to lose hope when he found it. He found the one thing he had been dreading: a fae.

Trying to find the strength to do what he had to do, a sinking feeling entered his stomach, he readied himself for what was to come. Though he was never prepared for what was to happen.

"How about, I won't turn you into the little rabbit that you are if you agree to serve me for the rest of your short little life."

New school. New home. New Life. New bullies. Daniel didn't ask for any of it. Yet here he is. Life still sucks. And he's had just about enough of it. However, the biggest challenge is yet to come. Afterall, has his shadow been moving on its own? Or is it just his imagination. Follow the story of 14-year-old Daniel as he learns how to get through life. How to grow up. And how to love in multiple ways. Opening his heart and mind to the world and people around him. Rated mature for: Swearing Mature concepts Violence This book is dedicated to everyone who inspired me, encouraged me and stuck by me while I debated giving up on the concept for this book altogether. You all know who you are... I wanted to tell a story that breaks the norm to some aspect. Where the main character is a boy, not a girl. Where he is not perfect. And where he is even a - not bad - but does bad things sometimes. It's a story of coming into yourself and forging your own path. Despite how hard that path can be to walk. Choices you face, how you'll react to them. What to do when you've done something bad and how you can fix it. If you should fix it. Each choice you make - weather you realize it or not - forges the person you are. For every door you close another one is waiting to be opened. This is not a perfect story, but it's one I want to tell. One that comes from a personal place in my heart and one that is born in reality and bathed in fantasy. This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.

But it's a sexy sound made in the back of his throat that reverberates through me. "Don't you see Senoy, you took something from me the moment I saw you. And I want it back." As the bastard of his mother's infidelity to her husband, Senoy never expected anything more than disdain from his family but it became much more when he carries the blood of the Fey Folk. Castigated, ridiculed and tortured by siblings and relatives, Senoy seeks to make his own path in the salacious domains of his father's kin and he can only do that by succeeding in a quest set upon him by the Fey Queen. But there are forces that conspire against his dreams; a malevolent creature hellbent on cracking the foundations of the supernatural and mortal world with his ritualistic murders, his own desire for acceptance that keeps him tied to the family who despises him and then there's Ezra. The wolf boy who belongs to his sister but has now set his sights on him. Honor, lust and deceit is all the Fey Folk live by. But can Senoy truly shed the shackles of his mortal upbringing and live up to his true nature?
