The year is 2035. Animal Jam, a popular game back in 2010 has been abandoned by its creators and millions of users worldwide. To put it simply, WildWorks had put their efforts into a bigger and more engaging project which drew old Animal Jam users away. However, a single player who's been... dedicated... to the game from the very beginning remains active.

Ink. Animal Jam's only active user. He was a lot like other jammers. Ink would trade at Brady's lab, meet people in Jamaa, and go to parties with his friends. He was quite famous due to his unique three letter username. A respected player in the community. The day came when less and less players joined the game. During that time, he watched it slowly die away until there was nobody left but him. He was stuck alone in the game forever. That is, until a strange player suddenly shows up in the game and changes Ink's life forever.
