Angie and her friend Julia get transferred to a new orphanage after their pervious one got shut down for unknown reasons. They arrive at the new orphanage and the number 1 ground rule was that nobody was allowed to go into the attic under any circumstances.

Curiously Angie and Julia go around asking why they are not allowed in the attic. Everyone they ask seems to be terrified of the attic and they don't want to speak about it.

One day Angie and Julia go into the attic of the orphanage without anyone knowing to find out why they're not allowed in there. On their mission they find a mysterious red door at the back/ end of the attic. Angie and Julia decide to open the door to see what's on the other side.

What happens when they open that door? And what do they find on the other side of the door?All Rights Reserved

Hadagery (Book 2) Creeee...eeeee..eeee..ee. The door behind Hadlin creaked open. "That's impossible." He thought, "I barred that door shut." Then turned around just in time to hear it click shut again. Standing just inside the entrance was a blackened thing. Humanistic in shape. However what it could be was left up for question. Since it was covered in sludge. The grisly thing is that the creature was dragging a limp woman by the hair of her head. Hadlin could barely whisper. "Mom..." It dropped the body. Then stalked towards Hadlin. Was he going to die? What is going on? Taking a second look the creature, and the dead woman were gone. Just like awaking from a bad dream.

The circumstances were deemed accidental and it was swept under the rug. Truth is, someone covered up the whole situation and I was sent somewhere I knew no one would find me. I was swept under the rug too. Critter Ridge Orphanage is an old building placed in the pines somewhere in the state of New Jersey, run by a kindly woman and housing a family of others like me. Boys and girls all different in their own aspects. They didn't like me and I didn't like them, which was fine. Miss Huld, the owner, seemed to like me enough and that was all I needed. Things changed, though. They found a dead body on our property and everyone scrambled to lock the doors and bar the windows. The normal kids at school all started to edge away from us, from me in particular. They called us witches and devil worshippers. They were scared they might be next. I couldn't keep my nose out of where it didn't belong and then everyone was involved in the mystery. There's ghosts around every corner in this house, and if we don't figure out what's wrong here, we might just become the next ones.

It’s much better than having to find a part-time job on campus. And best of all, her boyfriend, is the RA for the tenth floor. Cara learns that there are frequent odd noises in the room, and Hailey’s oblivious because she can’t hear them. Cara discovers one of the students who previously lived in 9C was committed to a psychiatric hospital the following year. Other years, students placed in room 9C dropped out of school mid-semester. She confronts Mr. Flynn about the room’s history, and he uncomfortably admits that back in the Eighties, a student committed suicide in the room, but assures her it was completely renovated. Now Leigh Anne is intrigued and suggests that they use her Ouija board to contact the dead kid. Cara is opposed to the idea, since she doesn’t want to freak her resident out. But Mason insists maybe they can communicate with the spirit and ask him to stop scaring nice girls. When he puts it that way, Cara agrees. But the spirit of the dead kid from Room 9C isn’t so easily convinced...

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
