Heather Hudson was born in 1920 in Queens. She was from a rich family and she became a model. Her life was perfect. She had a handsome man, James Buchanan Barnes, who was a soldier and a perfect man for her. She never thought her life would make such a big turn. On a mission alongside Steve Rogers, Bucky's best friend, her almost husband died after falling from a train to the floor from a high mountain. She lost everything that matter to her. He proposed her the night before and she said yes, but... Now she is back with Steve, after being 70 years under ice. It was an unusual thing to her to wake up, as she is human. Steve is human too, but he had serum in his organism. Now nothing's the same. They are not in the Second World War, they have told them they had won. Everything's so different. Nothing won't be the same.

Bucky Barnes remembered very little outside his own name, but he remembered a girl. He remembered a girl with a voice of reason, who spoke only the truth to him, who wanted nothing more than to keep him safe from himself.
