It's been over a year since Skyler, Jonas' girlfriend took her own life. 
Jonas is struggling to let go, participating in unhealthy activities, thinking he'll never kive again.
Then Kylie shows up. A gothic new girl in school. 

Kylie has been struggling for a while, she's getting a new chance in a new town with a new school after being expelled from her previous school.
Kylie has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and feels like she's all alone in this world. 
But then there's Elijah, the dreamy tall emo boy. Elijah quickly wraps Kylie around his finger and helps her down the path of drugs and drinking.

But Jonas won't let that happen, cause since the first time since Skyler's death, he feels.
