" A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life,
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents' strife.
The fearful passage of their death-marked love
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, naught could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage..."
- Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare
Decades down the line since the death of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, the rivalry between the two households continued to be passed down to the next generation. Julian's birth, an anomaly in the Capulet family, had been celebrated as a possible end to Mercutio's curse but no amount of security and watchful eyes could prevent him from meeting Rowan Montague.
With their families' history, and death looming over the heads of Julian and Rowan, the smart choice was to stay out of each other's lives, right? Or could they achieve what Romeo and Juliet couldn't, end the rivalry of their families and live happily ever after?
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)

He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
