There's a war coming between north and south of the island. The barrier is still up and people are getting desperate. 
Cruella suggested that an arranged marriage could prevent the war, the leader of the northside Maleficent didn't want her daughter to have anything to do with a south sider.
Then the Evil Queen suggested that her own daughter could marry the pirate prince of the southside. 

Captain Hook actually considered the suggestion and accepted the offer, forcing his son to get engaged with Evie.
Both teenagers were shocked and disgusted by this decision. They weren't ready for any kind of marriage and especially not an arranged one.

Harry would be bossed around by Evie through her mom and his dad... But Evie gets many regrets when something small... caused big damage...

How will things turn out for the pirate and his blueberry?

Hazel Pan lived in a world where all the villains were banished to the Isle of the Lost, a dark and dreary place, cut off from the enchanting beauty and magic of Auradon. Among those banished villains were Captain Hook's son, Harry Hook. Harry was known for his roguish charm, his mischievous smile, and his father's notorious hook, which he wore as a symbol of his lineage. Hazel, with her heart full of compassion and justice, couldn't bear the thought of the children of the villains growing up in such a grim place just because of the sins of their parents. Thus, she decided to make a difference. Hazel wanted to help her friends, King Be, and future queen, Mal, of Auradon to allow the children of the villains to come to Auradon for a chance at a better life. It was Ben's wish and Hazel had the same views, it brought them as close as siblings. The first to step foot in Auradon were the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. They welcomed them with open arms and a warm smile, assuring them that they were not their parents and that they deserved the same chances as everyone else. In time, they started to believe and began to see the good in themselves that Hazel and Ben saw in them. Then plans changed and Hazel found herself in situations she'd never think to be in. Her king and her friends by her side every step of the way to help the lost and find the good.

It was easy for a villain like him. Not many knew she existed as Maleficent kept her out of the light as she wasn't what Maleficent wanted in a daughter. Mary much like Seth has suffered in her life, however the ways she's suffered are quite different but her and Seth have three things in common. Both want Maleficent dead. Both want Mal dead. Both want to rule the Isle. With her sister and her mother gone and out of the picture, this was her chance to take over. But she wouldn't be able to do it alone. She knows that, and one day she meets Seth and while the two have a very rough first meeting considering Seth hates her family but quickly they get closer once their common goals come to light.
