Denial || An OBX Story

Denying love can be a very simple thing to do.

Denying love occurs when inaccurate predictions are made without previous experience.

Denying love occurs when two people who struggle with their own insecurities notice the small things.

Denying love occurs when those who are experiencing the love, have never felt a real, safe, and comfortable feeling as such in their lives.

In the somewhat great state of North Carolina, the small town known so well as Kildare County was apart of the nationally known vacation spot of The Outer Banks. Being apart of such a small community meant that everyone knew each other. How? You might ask. There isn't really a good answer. There are too many answers.

To make it simple, the Kooks are rich spoiled brats. And the Pogues were the humble poor people who struggled to make a living for themselves.

This summer was going to be epic. Endless golden sunsets, hundreds of calm boat rides on the sparkling ocean, and many hours spent with those who were closest to you.

Through all of this, you can't ever forget one of the most important words known to mankind. "But." For the Pogues, the "but" wasn't rules or a lack of things to do. It was four-hundred-million dollars in lost gold. It was family and parental issues. It was personal goals outside of the ones set within the group. It was love that was peaking through the curtains of their own feelings and thoughts that were being pushed away by those who were trying to save themselves.

A story of drama, action, romance, and excitement. The group of 5 teens, known so well as the Pogues, are in for the summer of a lifetime.
