Choose ------------- Tomorrow came, actually today cause it was currently the 13th of February, a day to the day of barf...sorry, I meant love, the day of love. Today came and my stomach and heart became one. I wasn't sure which one was beating and which one was rolling. So...I was nervous. I wasn't sure why though but I couldn't deny, I was terribly nervous. Limp --------- "I love you" Love, such a strong word. Very powerful indeed. Love can break obstacles, love can move mountains, blah blah blah. I agree, love is a very strong word but the way 'he' said it made it sound weak and limp, limper than an old man's dic- Sorry, kinda diverted there. Ah yes, the way he said it made it sound weak, very unlike the strong fabled word. I certainly didn't feel butterflies or apes or whatever it is that's meant to stampede in your belly when someone says that word. It felt flat, too flat. The next step ----------------------- Marriage, the stupid knot that binds two people together for life. When he got down on one knee and pulled out the red velvet box, my hands instinctively went to cover my mouth. Not in the cliche surprised way you think but in the horror, shocked but not too surprised way. I had expected this but definitely not now, with so many darn people around. I had expected this for a while now. Not because I was eager to get to the next level in our relationship but because he was terrible at hiding it. I had already seen the ring three months ago and a week before that, I had seen the receipt for it from the jewellers. Over the course of the three months, I had been expecting this but surely not with the expense of so many expectant faces. Just a collection of oneshot valentine stories. Word count: I dunno. Warning: Not all stories have happy endings, life is unfair so we cannot always have happy endings. Stories would be updated irregularly...or regularly I.e. when I'm not feeling lazy. Peace out #hobimelonsugaandtae Xoxo Hanjat
