-An enraged scream tore through the haunting quiet deep in the forest. Maria ran blindly through the dark woods, relying on the streams of moonlight puncturing the thick canopy and piercing the compacted fog to guide her. The mist blanketing the ground parted and swirled, disturbed by her escape, but swiftly reformed as though she was never there. She had never meant for this to happen, she had only wanted a cure, she had only wanted to save her mother.-

He had been drafted into this hunt against his will, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe for Evelyn's ability to survive in such a hostile environment. The Hunters moved through the forest with military precision, every step taken with deadly purpose. They were determined to capture Evelyn at all costs, their eyes locked on their target, ready to strike at any moment. Evelyn's petite frame moved quickly and confidently as she set up traps, her piercing green eyes scanning the area for any sign of danger. Her steps echoed loudly through the silence as she thumped through the woods as though the devil himself was at her heels. The adrenaline pumping through her veins held back the pains of the sharp cuts that the unmerciful wood grounds had tattooed on her bare feet. The branches danced along her fair flawless skin creating a pattern of it's own as it ripped through her plain white chemise which now spotted streaks of red and brown. The flimsy material, now drenched in sweat clung fiercely to her body like a second skin outlining every dip, every edge and every curve...... Her beating heart echoed through the silence in her head but she could still hear the growls of the beast that had been pursuing her relentlessly. She saw his yellow glowing eyes as he stepped through the woods and made his way toward her slowly. A predator and its prey.Complete
