Steven Universe: Their Return

Happily ever after never lasts, does it? No... Even a diamond will not last, not in perfect condition anyway. In the aftermath of the littlest diamond's prodigy progeny, pristine in personae, there is trouble from the other end of the spectrum. The brightest light casts the darkest shadow, some say... What they don't know is that the shadow came first, shade from the light of mercy and love. It does not care, nor will it ever. The blackest ink spills over the pages of a book once thought to be long since closed and sealed shut, destroying what was once there and leaving darkness in it's wake. One can only hope that the blackest of smoke will leave untouched the blooming rose that opens again... It was inevitable though, after all. One does not simply remove Black from White.
