Anthony Stoke was a rather unremarkable boy, from the United Kingdom. His life however, changed whilst in the country of Japan. 

During a visit to a shrine in the middle of a forest, he'd discovered a blue lantern. It's hook sat in the mouth of a stone tiger, which he removed it from. 

Almost immediately, voices spun around in his mind, alerting him of his new purpose within the country. He would be the one to save the Shackled, spirits of the dead that would be unable to pass into the next life.
