War.
As common as it is repulsive. Where only instinct can cut the line between life and a perishable death.

1922, war emerged between Korea and the United States, a cold winter that most soldiers will remember, if they live through it.

Minho, a soldier looked up to by many, though he only keeps to himself, is a prodigy. He can lead just as well as he can kill, which is all that is looked for.

Everything will take a turn for the worst when a soldier from the enemy lines is taken as a prisoner to be questioned. Jisung, who doesn't speak a word of English is now assigned to Minho, to crack, to decode.

They both want the same thing...live another day. Only life will throw them in situations not most common for sworn enemies...

Comfort can be found in violence

The word love can be drawn in blood

And no one can get what is Minho's...
Not even his prisoner

Minho and Jisung are childhood best friends. They're inseparable. Until Jisung started acting strange, suddenly trying to distance himself from Minho and realising it was one of his biggest mistakes yet. Trying to avoid Minho hasn't been going that well either... ever since they've lived under the same roof. WARNING! (AND SPOILER) Mentions of bipolar disorder, self-harm and abuse.
