Velvet gasped, sitting forward abruptly, his eyes snapping wide.
"Fuck!" He blurted, slumping against the wall again, bracing himself against it and wheezing for breath. "Oh fuck, fuck fuck fuck... oh fuck."
"You good?" Sam asked. He'd pulled off his helmet and undercap, revealing his scruffy blond hair and furrowed brow.
"Yeah," Velvet groaned.
Just then, the inner door of the shuttle airlock opened, and Boomer poked his head through, with a cheerful grin.
"Great to see you're not dead, man!" He remarked. "Good news: We've got life support and radar scanners. Bad news: Welcome to Casa La Middle Of Fuckin' Nowhere, guys! Population? Us!"
