WORK IN PROGRESS‼️ ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── There was no noise; I was at peace, and ironically, the stone-cold pavement never seemed warmer as my blood oozed out of me and around me like a painted canvas. I was slowly losing consciousness, but my mind never seemed happier now that I was dying. The white walls with big bright lights did not resemble heaven; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I thought I had died. When I came to, I found myself in this strange place, disoriented and confused. I looked around and found another five pairs of eyes looking at me with the same emotion swirling in their gaze. Now, 15 years later, I train with these girls. Our makers take care of us, feed us, and make sure we are clean, healthy, and fit. Some of us never had that; that's probably why it took so long for us to realize we were being used. The dirty work they made us do, none of us questioned it. How could we when we were taken off the streets? For a chance at normalcy, we settled for anything, even if that meant blurring the lines of right and wrong. After a mission gone haywire, we started noticing, and now we strike back to take our voices and reclaim the power that was used on us as a way to control us. ***Currently being edited and updated.*** I held onto my gun until all the blood in my hand had gone back into my arm. My knuckles were as white as snow, and I watched as the person whom I used to hate was getting brutally beaten to death, and I couldn't do anything about it because that was the plan. It's funny how feelings change over time. I tried to stay calm, I had to for the sake of all those poor girls, but they let out a blood-curdling scream, and that was my last straw. I wasn't going to let anything happen to the person I had slowly fallen in love with... I can't... cause if I do, I'm no better than my mother. **** Alexandra Slick, or more famously known as Ajax, is one helluva mafiosa. Her mother, the head of an all-female mafia, is a woman who takes other girls and women in need under her wing, to give them a home, and a better life- The same way she gave to Andra. Or is that all just a facade? Andra's stuck between a moral dilemma between sticking to her family, even if they weren't connected by blood, but still... Who is telling the truth? "But it's not all their fault." I sob. "They aren't the reason she's dead." "... and neither are you... Why do you insist on blaming yourself?" "Because I could've done better... "It does" I start to walk inside when he calls out my name, I whirl around to face him. "Why do you care so much?!" "I'm afraid you're going to hurt yourself!" I smile. "No, I only hurt others" I turn back around to face the door, when he spoke one last time. "Please do something that gives you reason to come out." I thought about that. "Go home, Will." I close the door behind me and proceed to walk up the stairs and return back to my beloved bed. As I lay in my bed, I stare at the ceiling. 'Do something that gives you reason to come out.' Is that what he had said. he's right, and I had just the thing to do. I'd find Ellie's killer and make them pay. Bailey is just a normal teenage girl, never wished for things to be different, never wanted a more exciting life, but that's exactly what she gets when he best friend is murdered and the police don't seem to care. Bailey realizes if she wants her best friend to get the justice she deserves, she's gonna have to catch the killer herself.Complete
My Boss
And there I stood, with my mouth wide open, my hands shaking, and my legs frozen. My boss looks up from his victim that is laying dead at his feet before wiping his bloodied hands on his shirt. As he saunters over to me, with a devilish hint in his eyes, all I could think about was how freaking pissed I was for my own body betraying my mind when it told me to run. I take a deep breath and close my eyes as he reaches his red stained hands towards my face, knowing this could be my last moment on Earth. Bracing myself for death to happen upon me, I clench my eyes shut tighter and curse myself for not being more brave. You might be wondering how I've ended up in this situation. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete
