Every teenager has a secret, right? Ashlynn Moore does. When Ashlynn's mother is killed in a car accident a year ago, her life as she knew it is gone. Her dad takes to grieving through alcohol and leaving Ashlynn battered and bruised. In an attempt to move on, they pack up and move to the sticks of Washington, where Ashlynn makes an unusual friend, a werewolf.
