Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete
The Lands of the Rising Sun
"Mur'ring!" I yelled. "Wake up! Ra'dok got bit by a coyote." Mur'ring sprung to his feet. "Let me see." He inspected the wound with a bad look on his face. "We have to disinfect it." "Yeah okay, whatever just help him he's bleeding out." Mur'ring let go of Ra'dok's leg and turned to me, "you don't have to be an asshole, you asked me," he said. "Help him!" I yelled. Mur'ring walked to the back of the cell and moved a cement block from the wall. He pulled out a bottle of clear liquid. "I was saving this for a special occasion, but given the situation I guess-" "Will you shut the fuck up and help him?!" Mur'ring poured the liquid on the wound. Ra'dok yelled. A guard smacked the door. "Shut the hell up in there!" Mur'ring wrapped some cloth around the wound and Ra'dok stopped bleeding. He let Ra'dok take a few sips of the liquid, which made him gag but sedated him. After a while we all fell asleep. I know it looks like this story is about Japan but it's not. The Lands of the Rising Sun are referring to the East Coast of the United States of America. Set in a post apocalyptic world. Ma'tuk, Ra'dok and Mur'ring are three slaves that share a cell and work in the mining fields. They discover a secret and set in motion a series of events to jailbreak the slaves. The story is told in two parts. The second part follows a team of bounty hunters that find a valuable man and must nurse him back to health. In order to see a doctor they must embark on a mission to gain access to the doctor. This wonderful adventure is very graphic and explores aspects of the mind in terms of spirituality, the human condition and the fate of man.Complete
Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? Sanctuary
Sanctuary. That was what the quarantine dome was supposed to be, a place of refuge from the N-Gel and the deadly Neoplague they unleashed on the world. But we aren't safe here. Senna is uprooted from her rural life in the outer dome when her mother agrees to marry the President of Sanctuary.
