Two soldiers from opposing sides in the Great War fall in love after multiple chance encounters.
Francis Albert Atwood, a young man always overshadowed by his older brother William, enlisted in the military to fight for his country. He thought it wouldn't be too bad, but it turned out to be hell.
Ahmet is from a small village near the coast of the Black Sea. He enlisted because he too, loved his country. The girl of his dreams just out of reach and his brother lost in the war, he constantly fights to win and protect those he cares about.
Two enemies, two opposing goals. Will they flourish, or will they both have a tragic end?

This originally was just a joke-ish thing between my friend in history class that then became something real. I'm not an expert at war history and I did my best to research things about WWI, but if I get something wrong, don't be shocked.

You are captured during you rendezvous by a German field medic -- a dark haired man who's pointing a Mauser at you and bleeding out. You must save him, you have no choice. The Soldier of Stars ~ Band of Brothers [1] A young woman who finds peace in the stars, and let's them guide her even through the darkness that might overcome her. __________ Hazel Parker of the WAC, Catherine McCown of SPARs and Elizabeth Elliot of the Cadet Nurses' Corps take part in Operation Virago which will send 250 women to the front lines to fight alongside men. The government, along with the War Department and direction from General Eisenhower decide this is a secret, covert operation that the public will be shielded from, to see how integrating women into war will work. Each of the 250 women come with their own ambitions of what they want from war and why they signed up in the first place to be apart of this program. They become split into each of the 5 branches with leverage from each of the branch commanders, and split into groups of 2, 3, or 4 women and are placed into their different respective branches. The enlisted men of each branch, well, they do not know exactly how to approach a woman who, at the moment, has more military training and experience by the time they get placed into their positions. Hazel Parker, Catherine McCown and Elizabeth Elliot are placed into the 101st Airborne, the first 3 women to be apart of the Airborne. A few other women head off to the 82nd. These 3 women become part of the 506th and are put under 2nd Battalion, in Easy Company. World War Dragon!
The Story is set in England in 1917... Twelve year old Marion Blount who has never found it easy to make friends. She has a sharp tongue and quick temper but these are just Marion's well learned defences against the goading and taunts she gets at school. Marion can make a horse leap a high fence and climb the tallest of trees but in 1917 these are not the accomplishments a young lady should be proud of as her peers and her mother continually remind her. One afternoon when Marion is out riding she comes across a scruffy and most peculiar woman, wearing trousers of all things. 'Trousers' already knows an awful lot about Marion, in fact a little too much for Marion's liking. Trousers wants to find out if Marion has the 'Knack' - a magical gift - like her ancestors had. She gives Marion the pair of magical rods and the challenge of seeing what she can so with them. But Marion has far more 'Knack' than Trousers anticipates and Marion and her friends very soon find themselves caught up in a dragon uprising and must do al they can to prevent the first dreadful act of destruction the rebel dragons are planning...
